Hell’s Gate National Park lies to the south of Lake Naivasha in Kenya, North West of Nairobi. The park which is mainly comprised of savannah ecosystem habours a wide variety of wildlife. There are over 100 species of birds in the park, including vultures, Verreaux’s Eagles, augur buzzard, and swifts. African buffalo, zebra, eland, hartebeest, Thomson’s gazelle, and baboons are also common. The park is also home to Klipspringer antelope and Chanler’s mountain Reed buck.
You will depart Nairobi in the morning, driving to the Rift Valley, With a stop at the Viewpoint to view the Rift Valley, then proceed to Hell’s Gate National Park. At Hell’s Gate National Park you can leave your vehicle and explore the park on foot. It has extra ordinarily scenic gorges and routes. Try your luck at rock climbing. After the hike, Depart for Lake Naivasha, with lunch en route at Naivasha Town. After lunch, Visit Lake Naivasha and then depart for Nairobi.
