5 Days Masai Mara migration safari

Day 1: Nairobi/ Manyatta Backpackers

On arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport  you will be met by Manyatta Backpackers representative who will escort you to the Manyatta Backpackers.  Enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure, explore the city, relax or take an optional excursion. Dinner on your own. Bed and breakfast accommodation at The Manyatta Backpackers.

Day 2: Manyatta Backpackers /Masai Mara National Reserve

Early breakfast then depart Manyatta Backpackers driving through the foot of the Rift Valley to arrive Masai Mara, check I at the tented camp and have lunch. At 1600hrs you will embark on a game drive in this magnificent game reserve.  Masai Mara is an extension of the Serengeti ecosystem to the south. Dinner and overnight at The Lodge

Day 3 – Masai Mara National Reserve

Breakfast, then depart Naivasha and drive  to the Masai Mara National Reserve, Kenya’s most popular game park and home to the big five-buffalo, elephant, lion, leopard and rhino. Vast herds of wildebeest and zebra wander the Mara grasslands; their numbers increase during the annual migration. Lunch, short rest and at 1600 hrs have an afternoon game viewing drive. Dinner and overnight at the Lodge

Day 4 – Masai Mara National Reserve

Full day in the Masai Mara National Reserve with morning and afternoon game drives allow maximum opportunity to view and photograph the abundant wildlife in this seemingly limitless game reserve. Full board accommodation at the Lodge

Day 5: Nairobi-Departure/Manyatta Backpackers
After breakfast, depart the Mara for Nairobi. En route, visit a Masai cultural village. The Masai have preserved their culture for a relatively long time. Colorful and elaborate bead work characterize their jewelry. The morans, huts, dresses and their way of life are an interesting bit. Continue with the drive to arrive Nairobi, at the Carnivore Restaurant for a sumptuous lunch. After lunch drop off at Manyatta Backpackers/or the Jomo Kenyatta Airport for your home bound flight.
